This book is for advanced level students but beginners are advised just to look at it otherwise you will be discouraged from learning the language.
When the author said "Quraniq Arabic" this is known as CLASSICAL Arabic. Most Arabs know classical Arabic. In my opinion, once you know classical Arabic you will be able to understand any other Arabic Dialect.
